My JD 350b recently developed a problem, when it is cold it works good but when it warms up the forward stops pulling and it starts pumping fluid out the trans dipstick tube next to operators feet on floorboard, i was told that the torque converter is going bad but do not know how to check this out. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks...Jim.

All indications make it look like the reverser needs to be rebuilt. Make sure that the hydraulic oil is either JD hydraulic oil or Tractor/transmission hydraulic oil. If you use just plain tractor hydraulic oil it will foam and this type of oil does not have the lube qualities of a good oil.

Did you check the oil level before starting it ??? It almost sounds like its low on oil. Let it sit for awhile and let the "foam" settle . Then check the oil level. If luck is with you its only that !!! But the reverser may be on the borderline of needing a rebuild.

Jim,
The dipstick you speak of is from your reverser.

Yep, no converters in these, either its way overfull of oil or its picking up air somewhere in the system and foaming the oil, this would make sense on the pulling problem as well as oil heats up it thins out thereby not getting as good a seal around o-rings and the like, I had a 350b loader once that gave me kinda the same problem only it didnt puke oil out but it did get weak after some running a guy told me to change the reverser oil to 30wt engine oil, I did and it worked great however it was a little cold natured had to let it warm up longer than I liked.

If it was a "mechanic" that told you that , put him at the very end of the list of people to repair it. No 350 ever had a torque converter so this person has no idea about them...
...Its definitely a 350B? ...not a C ??? and the oil comes from which dipstick ?? the one for the reverser or the one for the gear box ??

The serial plate says under type (350bb) and the serial no is (146515T) I am not sure what is what as far as reverser or gearbox, the dipstick to the front rt side of the floorboard area (sitting in machine) has what appears to be engine type oil and that is the one the oil was foaming and running out of. And the dipstick to the rear left side of same floorboard area is thin hydraulic type oil. I had just purchased this machine and ran it for approx 30 min when this all started.
