Have to change clutch in case 480C back hoe. how much does tranny wiegh?

clutch has been slipping for a while so time for a new one. what does the tranny wiegh approximately. can 2 guys handle it? or are we talking 1000 lbs here? it got to be heavy! ok any advice of info on this job would be appreciated. thnx a lot!

Ben, you sure dont want to remove the tranny,, its incorporated into one houseing with the rearend,, they way to go about changeing the clutch is to raise the loader and cut some angel iron to block the lift cylinders then proceed to remove the engine to get to the clutch. its not tooo bad a job..
