I couldn't make your picture come up. I just bought another 420 with a 62 blade with twin cylinders. My original one has a 61 (farm blade) that works with a remote cylinder. You pin the blade up and use the cyl on whatever you're pulling behind, harrow, etc.

This "new" 420's engine is stuck and I've been trying different ways to get it loose. I rigged up a tank over a gas burner piped to the block to circulate boiling water, but hasn't worked so far. Kroil won't even go down (the head is off). I drilled a piece of square tube to line up with the head bolt holes and tightened a block down on #1 piston; no luck. I'm going to try #2 and then I guess it will be pull the belly pan and oil pan. I also loosened the starter in case it was stuck. Anybody have other ideas? Thanks.

Jin,
By looking at the shift lever and the steering levers, you have a 420 under about 111,000 serial number. Look at your track clutch housings, if they have two bolts per side bolting them to the side frames, then you have a phase one 420 with a serial number under 100,000. Another way to tell is under 100,000 the serial number is on the left side of the center frame, 100,001 and up it is on the left side of the bellhousing. Go to my website and you can see pictures of both 420 and 430. I think you will see immediately the difference.

Jim,
I can only see 4 rollers on your 420 unless I am missing something. Four roller crawlers did not have a top idler. I am out of hydraulic levers right now.
Tried the second page just a bit ago and it went, you may want to try it again.
