Well, I am putting back together the 500G in some guys barn and managed to get it to fire up for a moment today.
Who knows the rocker arm clearances?
How hard will it be to change the clutch in this model with torque amplifier?
Any advice is wellcome.

Do you know what engine it is. I have a manual on the BD154 engine (rebuilding a tractor). On the cover the manual stated that this series was used in a crawler as well. The valve clearance on the BD154 is .020, intake and exhaust. Strange thing is it's the same setting cold or hot.

Can't help out on anything else.

Good Luck,
Rob
