I don't know how rare these crawlers are but while I was out for a run the other night we ran by a field and I saw something that resembeled a tractor or some other piece of large equipment! I decided today that I would go take a look at it and see what it was. It turned out to be a crawler (I was unsure of the brand when I found it). I looked later at a book I have and it looks much like a Cat 60 (angled frame, rivets instead of bolts and nuts, and four single heads). There is not a whole lot left of this crawler as in tracks, sheet metal (if there was any), seat, radiator, one missing piston, two missing heads) But all of the frame is there, rear end is mostly complete, one front trackwheel, hitch, both back driving wheels. I am just wondering if I have come across a jewel or a piece of junk. Thanks for any help. Adam Davis

Adam Davis, Sounds like you have found a junker,as well as a jewel. It maybe repairable and then again maybe not. If not it may be a good repair tractor. Go over to the cat bb and tell them what you have. Kelly
