I was wondering if anyone knows the value of a 1958-60 JD 440ICD Crawler/dozer I have,or where I can find this out. It has a six-way angle blade, and is in good to fair condition. Since I began restoring it, I have been getting offers to buy-but not really interested in selling-just want to know what I have here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill W-NY

Bill:
I have a 440ICD with a Model 64 blade (fully hydraulic 6-way blade) and a winch. It runs fine and needs steering clutch work. Paid $4,200 a couple of years ago. Saw one sell at auction about a year ago - Gas with loader - the tractor was disassembled and the engine/ transmission were rebuilt for $3,100. Hope this helps, Sam

Bill,
Without more specific info on undercarraige wear, other options, what blade it has exactly, it is hard to get a firm number, but would guess $2500-$5000. If you want, post the queston on our website as well.
