Hi Ya'll,

I've been around www.antiquetractors.com for a while now, but mainly over on the JD and MM tractor boards...

I bought a nice old Cat 30 crawler today at an auction and was just curious "whats the inside scoop on them?"

I've been around tractors a long time, but am new to crawlers.

Can a person still find parts for them? Looks like I'll need an intake and exhaust manifold, but other than that, everything on the undercarriage really looks good.

Do people still use them at all or are they strictly antiques by now? They are pretty old, aren't they?

They also had a Cat 22 in running condition that brought $1000. Is that a good price for a running machine?

Thanks for any info,
Howard Henderson
