I have purchased a large Ware brand backhoe attachment and I would like to put it on my 420 crawler. My question is - I have a model 90 loader on the front and I was curious to know if the hyraulic pump that drives it has enough gallons per minute movement of fluid to drive a large backhoe attachment? Also would it handle a hydraulic breaker attachment on it for breaking up a driveway? Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. Steve

I don't think flow is going to be a problem, the 420 pump is 23GPM, but is only 1000 PSI. I am guessing the hoe you have, and/or the breaker are designed to operate at 2250 PSI or higher, so your performance will be severely degraded. The hoe may be low pressure, but I doubt the breaker will be.
Also, if the hoe is very big, and you plan on doing much with it,lay in a good stock of final drives and track clutch housings, you are going to need them.

Without any details about the hoe--you should not have a problem. The loader will normally have a higher flow demand than you will ever see on the hoe.
Depending on the size of the breaker it may or may not ruu slower than normal, but should work.
Breakers are hard on everything--pins bushings--everything.
