Hi, When I start to use the machine when it's cold (below 30 degrees), it leaks about a pint or a little more transmission fluid until it's been driven for about 15 minutes or so.After that it won't leak a bit and everything works fine. Is this a problem to worry about or just keep the fluid up? Thanks for any help!

If you have the proper fluid in it then it sounds like the seals may have gone hard. I have experienced the same problem on other machines I have owned and have had good success with putting a pint of brake fluid in and running it as you normally would. The brake fluid seems to soften up the seal and make it seal better. I had one machine that lost two quarts in 45 minutes and I put the brake fluid in and it sealed to a stop after a couple days, didn't leak again for the next 4 years I owned the machine.

I agree with the comments from tom, I just changed the torque converter seal in my 500C Dozer, also was told a while ago about the brake fluid trick from a tranny guy IT WORKS!

Good luck
