I have a chance to buy a 1 of 2 International dozers. the first one is a TD 9 straight blade with 85 percent left on the tracks not sure on the age runs good for 3000 dollars and is a Straight shift. Im ok with a straight blade machine so thats not a problem. The second is a International 500Cthat has a 90 percent undercarriage and has a power shift and a six way blade. It need the final drive on one side replaced Im not familiar with the 500c. its also 3000 dollars. Im an operator and mechanic by trade so the work wont be a problem. Im looking for anyone with experience with these two machines. Are there any weaknesses on the 500C? And also parts availability for the 500C. any help on this will be greatly apreciated on this. Best regaurds Taylor Lambert

The 500 you'll have better luck getting parts for. The TD-9 sounds like it might be a semi-diesel?? The engine parts for those are all but unavaialable. The 500 won't have the pushing power of the 9 but I think you'd be happier with it. www.pdmechanical.com
