I have a 1974 Dynahoe 160. It weighs in at 17,700 lbs! Good tough machine, some say it's slow, but theres enough power there that it doesn't matter. I dig rock and hard soil with ease even though the machine has been around.
It does need some help though...simple things like a new muffler...and some glass in the cab wouldn't hurt either!
The biggest problem is that the backhoe itself needs new bushings on every pin. Other than that it's just about ready to tear up the woods!
I'd like to get it up to snuff and work the stuffin's out of it here.
Does anyone out there know of any Dynahoe Parts dealers or tractor boneyards with "reasonable" prices?...or any parts machines for sale?...parting one out?...etc
Thanks.

For some reason there never seems to be many Dynahoe fans browsing these pages.Try:
Dave Laing Equiptment Service Phone # 908-337-4157

Dave is VERY knowledgable, sells new & used parts , use to be a Dealer for Dynahoe & is quite a Dynahoe fan to boote. If that don't work I got other sources burried here somewhere, mail back. Good luck. Personally for the happy home owner I think they are a heck of a machine. True , they are big & slow moving but since I bought the Dynahoe, I don't spend anywhere near the repair time I use to. They are built like tanks....

When I had mine, I just went to the machine shopand had them built. Was getting stuff custom made cheaper than the Cat and JD boys were able to buy theirs at the dealer. The muffler I got at NAPA.
Merry Christmas
