I'm trying to remove my dry steering clutches, and I need help. When I pull the finals are the steering clutchs in that area? Also where do I put the jacks, the new manual doesn't show this clearly at all.
Thanks.

When you pull the final drive off a 350 the steering clutches will come out with it, dont forget to go inside and loosen the brake band alot so it wont be hanging you when you pull final, as for a jack I cant remember ever having to use one, it will sit on the track and bottom rollers, mabye under the rear end housing to gain a little clearance if the final hits the track when pulling it off.

Jim you will have to jack it up so you can get sproket off after you break the track.
