looking at a 350 crawler, the owner sayes that the steering clutch to the left in sticky, sometimes released, sometimes connected. anyone know what steering clutch parts cost and where the best place is to purchase them would be? I'm thinking a good clean-up and some new clutch disks will solve the problem. need to know the price of parts to figure the price I pay for it. Don't know who handles that stuff around here. ot

I took mine apart, cleaned them up with a finishing sander and brake cleaner. They're famous for rusting. However, a seal can leak and they'll get greasy as well. Keep cleaning and replace the seal. If some steel or fibre disks are too worn or broken they can be replaced individually. Around $14 each.

I just spent $1922 to have both steering clutchs and brake bands replaced on my 450B Labor was $915 which included $400 for some track work and some welding and bolt replacement.I would search the web for parts they are out there. Try google with crawler steering clutchs This was in East Texas

Forgot to mention the $250 pick-up and deliver fee was in the price in preceding message. About 50 miles each way. So the brake and clutch job would be about $1450
