Hydraulic Leak on JD450

I have a hydraulic leak under the hard nose on my JD 450. After dropping the shield underneath, The leak seems to be toward the pump. My question is "are there only the three bolts on each side of the hard nose holding it, or are there more to take out?" I will have a gantry to support it.
Should I raise the bucket and support it with an angle iron or leave it down?
I think the leak is in the large metal pipes going to the pump and not the rubber lines going to the cooling radiator. Any advice appreciated.

...easier to remove the nose with the loader raised...support it well on the cylinders. Gravity has no conscience !!!...remove the 3 bolts on either side and also the bracket for the transmission filter behind the grill. Then slide the nose forward to remove.

Thanks for the info.

I repaired the leak this weekend. It turned out to be one of the smaller lines to the radiator. A metal tube had a hole in it from a bolt holding the radiator on. Just hard to get at. It was definitely necessary to remove the hard nose.
I noticed some of the high pressure lines to the cylinders are getting cracks in the rubber coating. I guess I ought to start replacing these also. If I work on it all the time I'll never learn how to operate it.

I wonder how fast a bucket would drop if pressure is lost to one of the cylinders on the bucket?
