Help. Dyanahoe 190 transmission problem, oil level is ok, machine will move but it has no power. Is there a strainer or filter in or on the transmission that might be plugged or restricted? Any ideas?

Hey John, I don't think many dynahoe fans cruise this forum. I've posted here a couple times looking for a parts source & a question similar to yours & got very little response. Dynahoe I guess is thought to be translated to dinosaur compared to todays lighter faster moving machines. I still standby for the happy homeowner playing in the dirt when running they are indestructable. When not..they can be a problem. On my machine I was having the same problem as fall came on. I'm guessing yours is also torque converter drive. Mines a 190-4 4x4/rear steer. Before it got too cold to test the theory some one replied there is a round valve with an airline going to it from the foot brake get up on the side of the transmission that declutches when you apply the brakes so you can rev her up to increase power to the bucket. That valve from what the man who replied to my post says, hangs up. ( Thank You stranger by the way if your reading this..!!!)He recommends taking it apart & cleaning out the rust that comes from the air brake reciever tank not being drained often enough. Makes sense to me & I'm gonna do that soon as it warms up/dry's up enough to lay under her again. Another recommended once working disconnect the air to the valve so the problem don't come back. I think I'll do that too. Do a search here for dynahoe & the responses will pop up in the search. Let me know how things go ( my e-mail- F100Panel@aol.com ) as I have the same problem & if I make any headway I'll touch base with you... Good Luck!!!! Bill
