I bought a new pump on ebay and can't figure it out. It is a parker aluminum housing gear pump with one large approx. 1" port and one approx 1/2" port labeled primary and one more approx 3/4" port labeled secondary. I am confused as to what to hook to these ports. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim

May be a double pump setup. Or it may be a dual output pump. If its a double pump. Then it has two different output volumes at the same psi. If its a dual output pump. The 1/2" line would be the low volume high pressure side. The 3/4 line would be the high volume low pressure side. Plus the hi-vol side could have a internal preset relief valve to dump oil back to the suction side at a preset psi. If you post the numbers off the pump. I could look it up in the Parker catalog.

The biggest port (1") will be suction needs a line from the tank or a filter, the other two are gonna be pressure, sounds like you have a dual pump which means you can operate 2 different control valve banks with the same pump without a diverter valve, a picture if possible would tell.
