The 350C dozer I bought has a home-made upper exhaust that connects to the exhaust manifold. I can't seem to be able to stop it leaking exhaust badly. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated. I would also appreciate it if anyone can tell me what the part is called. If I have to purchase one, about what would it cost and where I can get one? Thanks in advance.

I just replaced the exhaust pipe on my 350C.. I took the dozer to a muffler shop and they made one. I did not have the top 1/2 of my old one...It cost $45.OO..... New from JD(part # T39034) The one that goes up onto the Roll Cage...is $ 200.00,,,, You can go to www.JohnDeere.com and look at there Catalog to get prices and pictures.... Catalog: 1480,,,,, Grid : 1H13,,,Section 530,,,,Page 4. Is the page with the muffler and stack

Good luck

i'm assuming a 350c has same setup as a 350b which is what i own...on mine theres a flange/donut looking flare on manifold that the exhaust pipe sits on with a tube clamp that tightens down to seal...if the flare on manifold isnt broken or burnt thru its just a matter of replacing pipe which i've heard called exhaust pipe...manifold pipe...header pipe...etc...i'd suggest a muffler shop that makes their own pipes...you'll need diameter of flare and inside diameter of exhaust port on manifold and approx length so they can make pipe...take your old clamp and pipe and the guy that runs bender should know what you need...it really shouldnt be that expensive...personally i wouldnt pay more than 50 bux...should be less.
good luck
