My JD 350C brake (clutch?)levers seem to work fine by stopping the track when I pull back on either one. However, I noticed that the right lever travels only about 1-2" before engaging while the right one travels 5-6" before it engages. Seems to me they both should have the same travel but I don't know. Can anyone tell me if I have a problem? If so, what should I do to correct it? Thanks in advancefor any advice.

Dave it is a remote possibility that the clutch has been replaced without setting the arm hts.
If that is the case you want be able to adjust the detent linkage enough anyway, its a rare occurance but have seen it before. A longer threaded rod can bring it closer but its a temp fix till you can service the fianl clutch assembly properly. Do yourself a favor and follow the adjustment proceedure carefully in the manual and go from there.

Hey david take the seat off and unturn the cap of the adj. needed brake and give it a few clicks, you really dont need a manual to do this.
