I currently have a 1936 cletrac model BD that was converted into a wheeled tractor with a 1960 GMC 305 V6 motor installed for power. We have been farming with this tractor for 27 years now and no problems so far! the only 2 things that I would like to have is a six speed rearend for it as it has the older 4 speed and low isn't low enough for some situations, and I would like a PTO for it. I know someone who has all of this in a parts dozer, but as it seems that his grandfather's brother's uncle's dog, or something, owned it 50 years ago, so he won't part with it! Thanks, Dan Sacks

Sorry Dan but you will have to live with what you have!! When Cletrac went from the 4 speed to 6 speed the whole tractor was upgraded and parts from the new will not fit into the old. You would have to build a new tractor based on the new machine. Why not just buy a bigger wheeled tractor?

Hi, Dan. You could try a post at Cletrac.org or an e-mail direct to Blake Malkamaki at the same site.
That is pretty much the place for any and all Cletrac info. You will have to register to post there.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
