Hello

Does anyone here know anything about International TD-20 crawlers?

Theres one on an equipment dealers lot by me. Its a 1968 with a powershift. I have heard the old IH dozers wern't so good and had alot of transmission problems. Any truth to that? Were the powershifts any good? Its missing one of the track idler rollers on the top, how hard are they to find? Also, what are the weight/horsepower specs for a TD-20 with a turbocharger? And what would be a fair price for one of these? They want $12,500 for it, I think thats a bit high, but mabey one could deal a little on it:)

Any input is appreciated!!

Andy

A 1968 model would be towards the lower end of the price range.

third party image

We bought this 1967 TD20 Series B for les than 2300 euros. the photo shows it before restoring. It has a DT429 turbocharged diesel engine that gives 160HP and it weights 18 metric tons with angle dozer but without ripper.
It seems to be a good machine... for this price.
