I found what appears to be a fairly good HD11. The owner says it has a turbo. What year did they add turbos? He says the owners manuals they use are dated in the early 70's. He really doesn't know the year it was built. He says the pins and bushings have not been turned. One sprocket is 50% and one sprocket is 20%. How much are good used or new sprockets? This is a manual hand clutch machine as I would assume most of these are. It does have a hydralic blade. Says it doesn't use oil. What should I look for when I go see it? Sounds like it has been in the same family for maybe 30 years. They only put 50 - 100 hours on it a year. What should I expect to pay for a good Allis HD11? How much does hauling a dozer cost? It could be 400 miles. Thanks guys. andy

I know where there is a HD-5 with loader. its supposed to have new steering clutches and the tracks and undercarriage is 70%. $2500.00 located in north east ohio. I also saw a HD 11 woth dozer blade last summer sell at a auction for $500.00 It did run but needed alot of work.

we have a hd11g loader that has sore feet and rains oil on you when operated but it will still load a truck. Pop gave 3500 for it about 25 years ago. I saw a hd20 with a 6-110 detroit diesel in it go for 1600 dollars the other day at a farm auction. The sprockets werent too bad but the bushings were worn thru to the pins. It ran but they couldnt start it . they killed the battery in the cold trying. I would think long and hard about buying a questionable piece and then paying to haul it 400 miles. You might be able to pay someone else with a machine to do a lot of dozer work for the money it would cost just to move a hd11 that distance. GOOD LUCK

Last time I did a search on this site I came up with quite a bit of information for a buddy who has an 11G. His undercarriage is gone and he hasn't found replacement. It's looking more like yard art every day. I passed up the opportunity, as has everybody else. Good luck.

The turbo was added in 1962, and the series B started in 1971, production ended in 74. I have a AC book and can give you the year built if you get the serial number.
