Does anyone know off the top of their head, the static timing for the fuel injection pump on a (FAT ALICE)Fiat-Allis 345B endloader, bought one last week a the pump was off engine. No dealers are left here in the midwest to tell me. And do not need to buy a book for just this one items setting, can anyone help? Oh while I'm thinking of it. This machine had worked in fertilizer and the I.D. number plates are ate off. Where is the serial number of machine stamped on frame at? On the back? In the articulation joint? This would help a lot, too! Thank you! Brian "Keep making Black Smoke!"

Well, I found out on my own. The static timing depending on where engine was made is: 18 BTDC on American made engines and 14 BTDC on British engines both being the 2800's series Allis-Chalmers engine. Good to know!
