My 450 has a C type dlade frame and has 4 way hydraulic's, Some one has added extra controll to make it a 6 way, But i can only get 40 psi of pressure out of the outlet., Can any one explain or have a diagram of how it should be plummed., And I have heard there is two types of controlls, open and closed type, how can I tell which type I should have and Identify the extra one that is on my dozer.
Thanks for any help. DOUG

If its a Case valve section that was added to the control valve, it should be the same pressure as the main releif. If it only has 40 psi coming out, either you're checking it in the wrong place or the valve is hooked up wrong. Return pressure that goes to a filter is about 50 psi. If its another valve plumbed into the control valve it will need a power beyond section added onto it like for use with the backhoe attachment. The Case units of that era used open center hydraulics. Being at a CPE, I only used the factory added valve section which is just another tilt section added to the control valve.
