Hi,I am looking at a Cat D2 crawler. I would appreciate knowing the weight of a Cat D2. It has a diesel engine w/pony motor. I believe it's a 1950. Also does anyone have any expierence trailering one. Would it be feasible for trailering with a 5 ton dual axle trailer with electric brakes being pulled by a 3/4 ton Dodge PU w/5.9 Cummins turbo diesel (25 miles max.)? Any help would be appreciate. Thanks, Dave

If you place your D2 right between your axls it should ride good

I hauled a D-2 with blade attached in a C30 chevy truck with a 12ft bed but it was a load.

I hauled my Uncles D2 (no blade) in a parade last summer with my 95 Dodge Cummins and a 10,000 GVW trailer, no problem. But would not climb Pikes peak with it.
