Can anyone give me an idea of what a Cat D2 with logging boom and winch in excellent shape should be worth. Thanks, Dave

Dave,

I'm in the market for a D2. From my initial research I've seen the following:

$4,500 OBO - I saw this dozer and it looked to be in running condition with a decent blade setup. The dozer did not have the original radiator - appeared to be a functional upgrade.

$3,000 OBO - this dozer is listed as "fair condition"

$2,000 - actual selling price for a D2 with a seized motor. The purchaser was able to restore the dozer - i.e. the motor was seized, but not too badly - it was repairable.

Hope this helps.

I'm in the market for a D2 to restore. Let me know when you decide on a price.
