I want to purchase two hood latches for my JD 350C. Is there someplace where I can purchase these "used' or will I have to buy new ones from John Deere?

I also have a "homemade" exhaust system made from welded pipe that connects to the exhaust manifold. It doesn't seal well at all. Does anyone know where I might buy a used one? Thanks in advance for any help.

David

I went to the hardware store, bought bolts and springs to make my own. Works great and was cheap. I found owning a dozer, one needs to be able to do this kind of thing because it seems to be ongoing.

A friend of mine had a similiar problem with the exhaust with a older 40C he bought...The welded pipe assembly was just resting on the flange that comes off the manifold. It was pretty rusty also. We cut the exhaust pipe with a pipe cutter, made several 3" cuts up the pipe, i think we made 6 or 8. put this onto the flange, and clamped it with two stainless clamps from Home Depot. Sure its not factory, but it now works fine and was a cheap fix.
