Huber Tractor Grader

I am looking at buying an old Huber tractor Grader, it has a blade under the belly for grading and a dozer blade up front. Has a 6 cylinder Hercules motor model QXB5, anyone know where I can find a starter for it and what are these machines worth. Appreciate any help

Hi Joe,

Huber's still around. Google for the factory. They'll tell you all about that machine. The dozer blade was an option that works great for cleaning road drainages. I spoke with them about an auction for a newish (diesel) grader/maintainer that I'd love to own. They told me what they knew of the tractor according to serial number. It brought nearly $12k, I didn't love it that much.

Before that, last one I saw at auction had a 6 cylinder gas something, maybe Hercules, that wouldn't start and had stinking fresh paint on it over the grease and dirt, brought $7000. Not from me. You aren't looking at one in Va. are you? Good luck with it.

Thanks for the info, I am looking at this machine to buy and it needs a starter, its in good condition otherwise. Fellow wants $2900 for it.

Whats your phone number or email I would like to talk with you, my idea was to get it running and sell it. Its actually too big to use around my place although I would like to find something like it but much smaller.
