I am considering buying an International 500C dozer with 6 way blade, torque converter, 3 cyl. diesel that according to the tach has 1014 hours on it. It supposedly has 95% undercarriage. I have not seen it yet as it is over 400 miles away. Before I make the drive, can anyone give me an approximate idea of what is a good price for this dozer? The owner is a dealer and knows nothing of its past history. He has tried it out and says it is tight but seems to miss for a few minutes when first started but once it warms up, then it runs fine. He also says he has started it on ether a few times but it starts ok without it also...only slower. Any and all help is truly appreciated. Feel free to email me direct.

Thanks to all who have helped. I really appreciate it. Turns out the dozer engine has trouble...down on compression so I will not be getting it after all. I do however have my eye on a nice 450B John Deere. Thanks again.
