OK, guys, is the Komatsu an OK machine or a piece of junk? Looking at a D21P-6 with complete new undercarriage and six-way blade for $14,000. Looks too good to be true. See some surface pits in the sheet metal like it was very rusty before they painted it, but overall it looks very good. Just wondering about size comparison and reliability.

My older brother owned a large excavating company and we had several grey market Komatsu dozers The 21s are sold here and are the same as the greys just have a better rops. THe only probles with the Komatsu was the Grey market machines had a smaller seat to fit a Japanese tail lol had to put a seat off another on it. I think the worst thing with ours was we had trouble with the it over heating but we found it had the wrong radiator cap on it.

Komatsu is good stuff, be careful around those small ones like that there's alot of small grey-market Komatsu's out there, it's not that they are a bad machine but you can run into problems getting repair parts.
