My 450 C has been in an unheated, enclosed building since last fall at our location upstate NY. Last weekend I started up the engine and tried moving the dozer. The dozer would only go forward, even when in reverse. With the shifter in reverse I pulled both the steering levers back and let out the clutch and nothing happened. After several trys at this I let the steering levers go and let out the clutch and it moved backward, in reverse. After several cycles of forward and reverse all seemed normal. My question is: Does this indicate anything serious, or is it just a result of sitting for an extended period of time. (All the fluids were changed last fall shortly before putting it away. The old fluids appeared normal, and there are no leaks.)

Maybe its reacting to the never-ending winter we had,.... I felt the same way !!! ... It may be getting tired but I would run it and pay attention to any slipping under a load etc....clutch pack seals leaking but reseated ??? who knows...just watch out for anything abnormal and address it when and IF it happens
