I just purchased an Austin Western Motor grader it is a 4 wheeled model with 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer, a 12 foot MB, 3 speed trans with hi-lo and a detroit 4-71 engine. Anyone know what model this may be? Where I can get parts? Any information would be appreciated

Joel, From what you have said about your Austin-Western, and the information I have, I would say with the GM 4-71 diesel engine you may have a Model 99L , Model 300 Pacer, Model 400 Pacer or a Model 400 Pacer Senior they all had the GM 4-71 engine according to my information , were single rear axle, all wheel drive, it all depends on the year it was manufactured . if you had a S/N one could get this closer. The SN on the Austin-Western should be on a plate… left side of the frame, far forward. Also stamped in top front of the frame.Hope this helps alittle.

I found the serial number under several layers of paint, H2770. Any Idea what the model is, how about weight?
Thanks Joel

Joel, I have several manuals for AW graders. Let me know what model you have and I'll see what I have.
