I have looked at several D7F Powershift tractors and there seems to be some difference in outward appearance with the early models vs. the later models. It appears that there was some difference on the tractors built with SS# 94N5192 and up vs. the SS# 94N001 to 94N5191 tractors. Anyone know what the differences were? Anyone?

Other than looks they are basically the same, but one thing. THe earlier models use the D7E style tranny which is VERY high dollars to fix. The later ones use the D6C style tranny & is cheaper to work on. Just my $.02 worth. HT

So, will a D6c tranny fit into a 7E ?
I've got a trashed 7E transmission so am looking for alternitives.
