i BOUGHT AN OLD D6 CAT WITH A CABLE BLADE AND BATTERY STARTED PONY MOTOR, MAYBE 1950?
ANY WAY EVERY THING WORKS EXCEPT THE CLUTCH WILL NOT DISINGAGE. tHE CLUCH ARM MOVES THE CLUCH PLATE MOVES BUT THE THRU SHAFT STILL SPINS.
ANY SUGESTIONS ON HOW TO BREAK IT LOOSE

Thats about the same as we did when we had the same problem with our D7's push into a large tree and use the steering clutches to bump it, with the main clutch released. once you get it to released don't forget to snap it in when you park it. That will keep the moisture out of it . Good luck. JM

Did you try to jam it into gear? they do drag and have a clutch brake to stop them turning. If you have tried this then you likely have to pull the clutch, they do seize up from sitting now days with new clutch material.

How about bumping an immovable object such as a large tree with the clutch in the released position.
