I just got a TD8-C bulldozer .
When it warms up (not hot by gages) it kicks out of high gears .
and when steering it stops for a few seconds before ingaging almost dies out .
but will push like no tomorrow lots of power.
torque converter? Steering clutches?
Tranny? what the place to look.

I have a Case 580-B backhoe and would like to find out what year it is Serial Number 7904664. Would like to know where I can get parts for this backhoe also.

Maurice,
Sorry I don't know. You might try posting your question to forum as a new question. This is a good site for answers.

Walter, I'm not sure if this is your model but
a D21A with your number would be a 1980. Also
a D21AP and D21AP-5 with your number are 1980s.
