I have an Allis HD6 with a steering clutch problem. The last few times I've used it the right steering clutch handle has gotten looser. By that I mean that the handle meets resistance by having to pull it back farther to disengage drive to the track. I have a little adjustment left on the clutch but I think the problem may be greater than that. A few years ago the same clutch having sat for over a year did not work at all. You could adjust the handle all you it would go but still would just flop around (read no resistance, no disengaging). Used the method of filling clutch resevoir with diesel and got the problem fixed. Can anyone offer suggestions why this is happening and how to correct?

I have an HD5 I have read that that its the same as a 6
Did you regrease the throw out bearing after you flushed the compartment? Might need a bearing. I believe it is an 8120 about $75
