ANYBODY EVER SEE A BRUSH RAKE ON A JD 420C? I WOULD LIKE TO BUILD ONE BUT I NEED A STARTING POINT. HOW BIG? HOW HEAVY DUTY? ANYBODY HAVE A PICTURE I CAN GO BY? ANYTHING WILL BE APPRECIATED !

I have just finished building a brush rake for my
JD440. Built on the photo shown in ibdozing.com.
I used 1x3 hot rolled bar one 20 ft piece. It measures 6 ft wide and 18 inches to the top of the
angle iron across the center (3x3x1/2). the tips dig 9 inched below the blade. email me if you want
a photo or other measurements. Ed

That is a great brush rake. I have heard of several people useing the idea and have expanded on it.

It's not a jd crawler but a Massey but this may give you some good ideas anyways, the brush rack is near the bottom of the page and there are alot of pictures so it will take a while to load
