Anyone know the difference (if any) between a 753 Bobcat and a 7753? Any capacity or horsepower difference? I am looking for a good used skid loader and have no idea of what the numbers mean. Especially the Bobcat brands.

Thanks in advance.
David

The modern day Bobcat numerology goes like this the 753 means its a 7-series machine, 5 refers to the length of the wheelbase, and 3 says it has a diesel engine, I cant cipher the 7753 but I do know the machine it is basically the same as a 773 with the vertical lift boom design it was the forerunner to the modern day 773, no wait they changed numbers again 773 is now a S185 I think. 753 is around 40 hp, 7753, 46hp. Your vertical lift machines will have a few hundred pounds more ROC (rated operating capacity) than will your radius lift machines.

The number in front of the model numger is simply a factory or factory authorized reconditioned machine.
A 7743 is a reconditioned 743.
