I want to know if there is a good site to post a for sale ad for some new excavator teeth. We sure don't need them. The YT classified ads are geared for tractor items. I've done a search on Yahho. Mixed results there. Any help would be appreciated. Mike D.

Hey Mike, try doing a search for heavy equipment, construction equipment, mining equipment, etc. I know there are places like Equipment Mine, Equipment trader online, etc that are good outlets for stuff like this. You can also try the HCEA (Historic Construction Equipment) site. They have a board there for buying and selling that's free. If you know anybody that needs teeth to fit a PC-1000 Komatsu, hook them up with me, I have 4 of them I'll let go right.

Good advice Wayne, I appreciate it. Got mouths to feed here, if you know what I mean. :^) I found several ESCO suppliers local. The trick is not to have to pay frieght on the heavy things. Frieght seems to be the killer. One dealer is checking his customer list to see which outfit buys the most of the particular teeth we have. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we get a match. I guess these dealers keep some pretty detailed records of what they sell. Makes sense to me too.
I'd go local on your teeth. If they are new you shouldn't have any trouble selling them. Let me know how it goes for you. I'll post a follow up when I have some good news to share.

Mike

What is the casting number on the points? (teeth)
I work at ESCO and just curious if we produce the points you have. Are you also selling the adapters?

Shawn

Hello Shawn-

Here is what we have, well, some of the stuff anyway. There are other boxes that we have not cleared out yet. These are the only ESCO pieces we have.

ESCO adaptor model # 5856-V39 (just one of these)

ESCO SUPER V V39VY (I think we have 14 of these)

ESCO SUPER V V39SYL (7 of these)

Sure would be nice to find a home for them.
