I have an opportunity to purchase a fully operational TD-9, less than 500 hours on rebuild, new tracks and under carriage, good clutchs has dozer blade and PTO. All work done by retired crawler mechanic. Located in Kansas, insight as to what it is worth would be greatly appreciated.

Greg,
Did you do the swap for the 170? If not, I may be interested - I have a TD-9 with the Drott loader, PTO & rear hydraulics. Email me & let me know.

ask if it was started on diesel with either in past because gas carb was not functional. I paid 4 gs for a 1960 model 92 series td9 with a drott ft end loader. It needed rollers and glow plugs all else seems adequate. I am happy with what i got for what i paid. cracked heads are a common problem on the older 4 cyl gas diesel td9s Good Luck.

Thanks bcPA, not sure you got my earlier response, plan on getting a extra motor along with it. No indication of problems with the gas start and switch over. I think we are now talking about a swap, my AC-170 gas tractor for his crawler. That gets my actual cost down to about 4g.
