Friend has a 955 4 in 1 bucket. He hauls it behind his dump truck with a tilt trailer. It weighs about 19000 + Lbs. I don't thinks a car hauler will move it.

Hello Jim,
I do not have the weight of a 955 bucket but I do for a 953 which is a compareable size machine. According to the info that I have the weight of the 4 in 1 bucket plus the additional hydraulics needed to be added to the machines standard hydraulic system is approximately 3115 pounds. You should be safe if you figure it is going to be around this weight.

It may be able to haul it home but its hard to tell, some came as extra heavy duty models with abraison plates and liners. Where are you located? If your near a place with a Uhaul Id rent one. You can get a good sized uhaul trailer. I had a friend of mine that bought 2 350 JD dozers at a sale. He hauled them home one at a time in a 2 ton Uhaul truck and tied them down good. If you rent a Uhaul be sure ti to it down good cause the cabs arent that thick on the back.
