hi the fuel pump on the engine seens to have gone bad does this happen often i also know nothing about diesel engines is it easy to take the unit of to be rebuilt how much would it be and were can i send it any tips or suggestions will be apperciated i disconneted the line that sucks the fuel to push into the ingetors and hooked a vacum gauge up to it but nothing at all its not pumping at all so i think it has to be rebuilt tia! p.s wheres the cheapest place to send it to be rebulit or is it cheaper to buy another good used or rebiult one?

I think you are talking about the fuel injection pump? You could just have to replace the filter. This is between the pump and the fuel tank.No, the pumps dont go bad often.You should really go buy a manual. removing and replacing,if done incorrectly the tractor wont run,you must get the timing correct,and bleed air out of the injectors lines or it wont run.Go get a manual
