500 and 500 C interchangability

I have a 500C with a bad final drive and good undercarriage. My question is will the finadrives off a 500 International loader fit a 500C. Im gettin pretty desperate at the moment. Any help is greatly apreciated. Taylor Lambert

Taylor, I finally found out some info for you. Unfortunately, they use different final drive assy's acording to part numbers. The 500 is perfectly round, and the 500C is sort of bell shaped. They also list different p/nos for the bull gear and the pinion shafts. My 500 book is a 67 print and the 500c is 1970, so there should not be too many differences in p/nos. Pat. Might be a difference in loader vs. crawler. My 500 dozer has pear shaped final drv housing. I will have a parts catalog in a couple of days if you are interested.
