I have seen a Cat d6 9u on the net with a turbo. Was this a genuine Cat modification? If so where can I get info from?

Darren, checked the fuel setting book and there where some turbo charged 9U's built. Ask on ACMOC for more info. Later Bob

Darren, it would most likely be a set up from a D318 industrial or gen set application. I could look into it for you. It would also require an increase in rack setting to max out on the benefit of the expence of the turbo. The old tractor is good as it was made, might just need a set of liners and rings and a valve job to get her up to max performance. The turbo will do little on a worn out engine. Later Bob
