Im trying to find out what size engine I have the serial number on the left front of the block is L175PM7052 it's a 6 cyl diesel. Also is there any where else besides the seat to find a serial number for the tractor (someone changed the orig seat out) I think Its probably late 60's but Im guessing. Any help is appreciated.

With the engine serial number it is a straight 175 not the "c" series - should be the dt361 engine. The 175C ran the DT466 engine. Check on the back side of the rear frame for the serial number - some had it stamped in there and some didn't

Jim, I believe it is a dt361. Do you know what the valves on a dt361 set at. Appreciate your response. William

William - sorry I didn't get back with you yesterday as I was not in the shop to get info but did get it today. The intake valves should be set .012 - .024" and the exhaust is .024 - .026". The exhaust valve is the one towards the fan on each cylinder.

I don't have the engine manual here - I will look it up when I get to work either tomorow or Wed and let you know.
