When I bought it, was quoted the TS-5 serial # on the loader. The TS-5 serial # correlates to 1951. Wrong.

Found the serial # on the R/R FD.

HD5G-26201

On IBdozing, these group serial numbers are quoted as 1954. 21837-25563 = 1954

So is mine a 1955 model? Wayne

On the right rear final drive housing, (rear diff) towards the top, the serial # is stamped in.

When I bought mine, I was quoted the TS-5 tractson loader serial # which equaled a 1951, but as I read Allis Chalmer forums, I found that # is irrellevant.

Right rear. Just under the right fender skirt or R-R fuel tank. There.

Wayne

TS-5 is the Tractomotive model no. for the loader only.

1955 is what it says in CH Wendel's The Allis Chalmers Story. 1955 range was 25,564 to 29,255, so yours was produced early in the year.
