I'm considering buying a bobcat M700, Interested in hearing from other people that own them. What attachments can they run? any known problems with them. Someone had told me the pumps go bad, sorry but I lost the posting with your name. Been having computer problems.... What is a M700 worth? Are parts still available? Thanks Dave

I bought an M700 last year, and it's run good for me. It was a good compromise for me to get a machine to do some work around the yard & farm, without spending a whole lot of money on it. The 4-cyl. Wisconsin engine is simple and seems to be reliable. I've been using it for landscraping, moving rocks, spreading gravel, etc. around our yard. I paid $5000 for it, with fairly new tires with good tread. It has a quick-attach loader, so I think it will fit most attachments, as long as they don't require high-flow hydraulics. The M700 is pretty light on the back end, so you can't lift a lot of weight far out on the bucket or forks, but I have moved some pretty good sized rocks with it. The only issue I've had is the hydostatic system is a little noisy when turning, but I'm assuming some noise is normal. I had to bleed the hyraulics after it sat for about 3 months over the winter, as the hydraulics were jerky then. After I bled the system, it seems to work fine. Manuals and parts are available from our local Bobcat dealer, so that shouldn't be a problem. Let me know if you hear of any problems with them, so I can be on guard for them.

found a 720 gas machine with niosy hydralics, growning sounds. and a 721 deisel with some oil leaks on the motor. 4000.00 for gas and 3500.00 for the 721. Not sure which one I want but leaning toward the diesel

I'd have to have a prop to keep from falling over cause I've leaned so far to the diesel and it's $500 cheaper to boot.

I dont have my book here at the computer so I'm not sure what the GPM of the hydraulics are but I'm going to guess it would be marginal to run any attachments, I would call a Bobcat dealer and ask if parts are still available I'm fairly sure they are, oil leaks on an air cooled engine is a no-no, dirt sticks to the oil after while it gets built up then you will have an area that is not getting cooled called a hot spot and there not good.

I bought the 721 new 60" bucket and new 48" forks for 3700.00. front aux for cost, are they hard to install? I think it will fit my needs. I'll fix the oil leaks this winter, there on the small side. I want to find a manual for the engine, do you know were i can look? Land pride makes a post hole digger that runs on 10-15 gpm. I'm going to look at the flow rates for new machines. Dave
