A 207D will interchange with the 188D. I've got a basket-case 580CK that's been sitting in my barn for three years now that has a blown 188D. I picked up a low-hours 207D engine and have intending to put it into the hoe, but the way things are going, I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it. I've got two other hoes now and don't need the machine, so I haven't been motivated. I did check all measurements as far as the swap goes. A few parts have to be swapped off the old engine, e.g. the starter motor, oil pan, timing cover and water pump. Tell you the truth, I wish I could find someone to buy the whole deal and get it out of here.

Not to cut in on you guys, but I could use a couple hydraulic cylinders off that 580 if it ends up going for parts. Thanks, Esev

LOL, go ahead and find 2 while your looking I need one for a 450 Case dozer I need a rebuildable core engine, block and head is busted and crankshaft is ruined. Think people are subbing that 4-cyl B-series Cummins for the 188 Case.
