I live in Ohio and it seems that most of the crawler tractors are located in the western states. Is there any economical method to get a larger crawler shipped. I know trucking is expensive, what about rail transport?

I have wondered the same thing about hauling a D7 Cat from the Nebraska/Iowa area to Central Texas. I doubt if the railroad would be interested in a one time deal like this, although that would be the best way with regards to permits, hassle with local authority, etc.

• Call Steve Sabo @ Target Transport- 219-825-3618 Reasonable rates and they know how to treat the equipment, and he's a collector as well.
