left steering clutch d 20 kom

tractorman I am planning on pulling the left steering clutch to inspect, still not releasing correct on the d 20 komatsu. Can you tell me @ how much time is involved to pull the top hub and does the fuel tank have to be removed or will it come out the back.

I got lucky today, I soaked them one last time in diesel fuel& operated it @ 30 minutes and the clutches finally started releasing,then I drained it out and flushed out to remove the oil base. Thanks for your help. Ray

It's not that big of a job, mabye 2 hours to get it out, I dont remember having to take the fuel tank off just the seat, battery, battery box, etc.

Hi.I think the Mitsubishi are similar...just take seat off.About 8 plates each side,I think.Use good spanners,as Jap bolts are crap!
