I just bought this machine, but have no owners manual. Does anyone know what fluids go where? There are two dipsticks under the steering clutch pedals. One has 90w gear oil and the other has nothing reading on the dipstick. It smells like ATF, but I'm not positive. Is there a source for parts for this thing? The Massey dealer here laughed at me. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Dane

The one in front is for the reverser and uses trans fluid the fill is the cap by the steering pedals ck. with engine runing reverser in nutral. this oil is also used for the steering so if the oil gets low it won't steer very well. the back one is for the Hi Lo trans and crown and pinion we used trans fluid but gear oil would be just as good if not better it is just gears and bearings. the clutches are dry but we never had any proublems with them. We have the shop service manual so if you have proublems I should be able to help.

To Muray: We are desperately trying to locate a shop manual for the MF-400 crawler/loader(77 model). Do you know where we could find one? Thanks, Dave
